Beach House

Nothing to say. Just another amazing track from lovely Beach House. Weird video though.

Jimi Hendrix

You definetly know Hendrix, or in case you dont know him -don't tell anybody and listen! I think Jimi is the coolest person who ever lived. ''When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will finally know peace.'' is a Hendrix quote he told before performing this song about the Vietnam war 'Machine Gun'. This is THE shit guys!

Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) live session

I just wanted to share this one with you. Awesome performance, although im pretty sure the talent is in the beard!

Boho Dancer

This is some upcoming new age stuff from Copenhagen. I could not find any tracks on youtube so you will need to visit their myspace to have a listen. I recommend the track 'Pistols', cause i really like that one :)

Fleetwood Mac

This is some real' old stuff. This post is for all those young ones like me. If it wasnt for my mom i woulndt know Fleetwood Mac. Her vocals are so sweet. Check it out!

Swan Lee

The beautiful voice that's singing comes from the beautiful danish woman Pernille Rosendahl. This is the opening track from the first and last album from her first 'group' Swan Lee.

Fallulah - Unplugged

I adore unplugged versions of great electrified songs, - Here is another one. This time it's on a danish rooftop in Nørrebro. It's the band Fallulah performing their unplugged version of Use It For Good. Enjoy!

Kasper Eistrup - Unplugged

This is a exclusive recording from some Icelandic tv show showing Kasper Eistrup (frontman of the danish rock band Kashmir). Really fine acoustic version of the Kashmir track The Curse Of Being A Girl.

Todays Chosen: Blue Foundation

Todays Chosen is Blue Foundation. This is their track Eyes On Fire, -probally their most popular track because it's featured on the Twilight Saga soundtrack (among Iron & Wine that i mentioned some days ago). Enough talking about Twilight. Eyes On Fire is from Blue Foundations 3rd studio album 'The Life of a Ghost'. Check it out, wicked stuff!

Bon Iver - Beach Baby

Remember that i told you about Bon Iver some days ago? (- even though you probally knew him before). Today i want to show you a track called Beach Baby. You might not know the track because it hides on his EP Blood Bank which there haven't been much talking about. Beach Baby might actually be one of my favorite tracks in these cold days.

Jack White

Jack White is a blues rock artist from Michigan. You might know him from the family duo The White Stripes. This is a song he performed in the movie It Might Get Loud. Most of the people reading this blog wont like this song, but i think that it is so artistic and special that i like it. This performance is art.

Todays Chosen: The Temper Trap

Today i have chosen the song Love Lost by Temper Trap. I really like the video and the song too of course.

Chimes & Bells

I have mentioned this group before when showing you the cover of Beach House' Zebra. Chimes & Bells is another upcoming danish group. Check 'em out!

Big Deal - Unknown YouTube Talent

Big Deal is a duo my freind showed me, they only got a single upload on youtube and its the song Homework. They only got 10.000 views, and that is not much compared to how amazing the song is. I really like these guys and i'm looking forward to see more from them. Really fine video by the way.

Feed Your iPod (Week 4)

I suggest some tracks each week that you should buy for your iPod to get some new stuff to listen to. Maybe i will open your eyes up for something completely different than you would normally be hearing.

Iron & Wine

Seam Beam or known by his stage name Iron & Wine has just realeased his fourth studio album named Kiss Each Other Clean, i have'nt heard the whole album yet but i look forward to do. The track Tree By The River catched my attention, and since i am a huge Iron & Wine fan i'd just ordered the album from Amazon. Listen people to this people and be blown away! By the way, it took Seam Beam like 10 years to finish this track.

Todays Chosen: The Black Keys

The Black Keys is a blues-rock duo from Akron, Ohio. The two guys Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney released their 6th studio album 'Brothers', the album recieved excellent reviews from all over the world. I've  picked out this track for 'Todays Chosen' because i think it is the best track from 'Brothers'. You guys should really check out some of the earlier albums like Magic Potion and Thickfreakness, i think they are even better than Brothers.

Treefight For Sunlight X Chimes & Bells Exclusive

Treefight For Sunlight and Chimes & Bells plays their version of the 2010 Beach House hit Zebra. Treefight For Sunlight and Chimes & Bells are to names in danish music, and is known very well especially in the copenhagen indie community.

Sunday Lovely Sunday

Ohh i almost forgot! As it is sunday i would remind you guys of this old rock n' roll song from Bono and Co. You guys sure know this one, - a classic! Sunday Bloody Sunday. By the way here is a bonus; Bono (U2 frontman) has regred that he wrote the song Sunday Bloody Sunday, Quote; '''I am a vandal and I do regret what I did. I really do regret it ..'' Statements made before performing of Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Todays Chosen (Sunday): The Asteroids Galaxy Tour

Maybe you've heard the song Around The Bend in various adds on TV (Apple iPod, Suzuki). The danish alternative pop group has a very unique sound. Their debut album Fruit had its release in 2009 and since they have been touring in countries worldwide. The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's music makes me happy and think positive. Listen to the todays pick; The Golden Age.

Todays Chosen: Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti

With their glimmery new age pop style Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti presents some really great psychedelic  songs. They are 'Todays Chosen'.

Bon Iver

In case you dont know Bon Iver or never checked him out i would really recommend you to do it. Bon Iver's debut album For Emma, Forever Ago peaked in 2010 but was released in 2009, by the time Bon Iver reached his peak he dropped his EP Blood Bank. This dude is amazing. His minimalistic music that only contains vocals, guitar, percussion and a little synth is wonderful. Listen to him and comment on what you think. I've picked out his biggest hit Skinny Love to tease you with. You should also listen to Blindsided, Creature Fear and Flume, - In fact all his tracks are brilliant. Tell me what you think about it, and remember to subscribe to me and become a daily reader.

Gorillaz - The Fall

On the 25th of December Gorillaz released The Fall on their website as a X-mas gift. The thing that makes the album special is that the album is produced on Damon Albarn's (Gorillaz' frontman) iPad. The album's 15 tracks is produced on a 32 day North American tour in the tourbus. The album can only be found on the internet. I would rate it 3/5 stars, but definetly 5/5 if thinking that its made on a iPad. The album is not anything extraordinary from the musically perspective, but it is a fun project that i really appreciate. I picked out this track Revolving Doors which i like the best.

Listen to all 15 tracks here; The Fall Official

Sorry for the bad quality, sadly i couldnt find in any better.

Beach House - Unplugged

This is a clip i found on youtube showing Beach House playing a rare unplugged session in Sydney, Australia. I really like this version of Used To Be, the original version is great too but this is more personal and more 'private'. Hope you like it, i am obsessed by this performance and i think this made me fall in love with Vicotria Legrand. Alex Scally (guitarist) is a pretty cool dude too.

Favorite International Album's of 2010!

Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest
Halcyon Digest is the fourth studio album by the indie rock / electronic / experimental band Deerhunter.
It's one of my 'listen to everyday' albums and you guys should really check it out.
By the way - very cool album cover, -mysterious, weird and a lil' spooky.
This is the song Helicopter that grabbed my attention for the album.

Broken Bells - Broken Bells
Broken Bells is a great duo. James Mercer lead vocalist and guitarist of The Shins and Bryan Burton decided in 2004 to work together when meeting each other at the danish music festival Roskilde Festival. The duo had big succes releasing their debut 'Broken Bells' and have promised a follow up, -I'm looking forward for that. This track October is my favorite track together with the track The High Road from the album. Have a listen!

The Drums - The Drums
This is another great debut album from 2010. The Drums are a group of four young guys. They're music does really stand out from all other modern bands, atleast i think so. The lead vocalist Jonathan Pierce has a very special voice that fits great to the band. Very exiting group, i want a follow up so bad!
Me And The Moon - It may not be the most popular track from the The Drums but its my favorite, wicked stuff!
